Alongside its work in education and socio-economic development, Vission Malala is actively engaged in promoting and preserving the rich traditions of art and culture. Folk art and cultural practices represent the soul of our country, yet today many of these valuable traditions are facing serious challenges and are gradually moving toward extinction.

At Vission Malala, we carry out focused research to understand the underlying causes behind the decline of folk culture. Our findings clearly indicate that poverty is the primary factor forcing many folk artists to abandon their traditional livelihoods. To address this issue, we extend continuous support to help these artists sustain themselves and continue practicing their art.

We strive to restore the lost dignity and recognition of folk culture by bringing it back into the mainstream. Through our initiatives, we have closely connected with Jatra artists from regions such as Birbhum, Purulia, and Bankura, many of whom survive on very limited income and face daily financial hardship.

Vission Malala reaches out to these distressed artists by providing essential items such as clothing and other basic necessities, helping to ease their immediate struggles. At the same time, we ensure that their children receive proper education and nutrition, enabling them to build a secure and brighter future. By resolving their challenges and supporting quality education, we empower these families to become self-reliant and stand confidently on their own feet.
