Vission Malala actively extends its services to the field of sports and physical fitness, recognizing their vital role in building discipline, confidence, and overall well-being. Organizing various sports activities, games, and athletic events for both men and women is an important part of our initiatives. We especially encourage children from slum areas and economically disadvantaged backgrounds to participate in sports such as cricket, football, and other outdoor games.
As part of this effort, Vission Malala successfully organized a football tournament in Krishnanagar, which witnessed the participation of eight teams and was conducted over an entire day. The tournament, titled the Balaram Ghosh Smrity Trophy, concluded with Kalyani Aryance Club emerging as the champions after defeating Krishnanagar South Club. Outstanding players were recognized and rewarded with prizes and awards for their performance.
The event was efficiently managed by dedicated volunteers and members of Vission Malala, making it a memorable and successful program. Encouraged by the positive response, we aim to organize many more such tournaments and sports events in the future to ignite enthusiasm for sports among marginalized and oppressed communities.
Beyond sports competitions, Vission Malala also focuses on promoting overall fitness among people from backward sections of society. Since awareness about fitness and healthy lifestyles is often limited in these communities, we take the initiative to organize fitness programs and yoga camps. These activities inspire children, men, and women to participate actively, and they respond with great interest, energy, and enthusiasm, contributing to healthier and more confident lives.
