Continued Education and Empowerment for Girls

At Vision Malala, we believe that education is the key to breaking cycles of poverty and creating a brighter future. But for many girls, their education stops after Class VIII, as government funding is only available up to that level. This leaves them vulnerable to early marriage, exploitation, and lack of opportunities for a better life.

To bridge this gap, we’re committed to providing these girls with two additional years of education, living support, and private coaching. By extending their stay in our dormitory and ensuring they have access to tuition and educational resources, we will help them complete their Madhyamik Exams. This will provide them with the qualifications they need to further their education and pursue meaningful careers.

The cost of providing this continued support is approximately 30,000 INR ($500) per girl each month. We are seeking sponsors to help cover these costs, enabling us to keep the girls in school and help them succeed.

Additionally, we’ve already made strides in improving educational resources, including providing textbooks for Class IX students and starting computer classes with volunteer teachers. These efforts help prepare the girls for the challenges of the future and give them the skills they need to excel in today’s digital world.
